Ecology in Motion Facial Gua Sha: Level 2 is rooted in nature-based Chinese medicine, and its advanced understanding of how natural science fits in with how we approach the face and beauty. There are more awe-inspiringly beautiful concepts which underpin Facial Gua Sha and brand new techniques to target facial areas and to enhance the sequence protocol in fresh ways.

Enhancing the external approach of level 1, level 2 looks at internal changes which affect the face and some of the key features of level 2 include:

Analyzing emotions within the context of the natural world and their effect on the face

Exploring the effects and management of Botox and fillers with Gua sha

Learning how to approach tension in the jaw and TMJ issues

Refining your posture and tool technique to create a smooth, luxurious client experience

Targeting specific areas on the body to achieve results on the face

Learning how to present Gua sha and to include it in a comprehensive plan of treatment

You will leave the class with a deeper understanding of how Facial Gua sha can be used within EIM ideas, and more finely-tuned skills and techniques using your Gua sha tool to maximize the effects of your treatments.

The goal of Level 2 is to expand on the knowledge and abilities learned in Level 1 by adding new skills and techniques to go above and beyond what most people think a Facial Gua sha treatment is. You will learn how to adapt what you know to any situation, and confidently explain what you’re doing and how you’re doing it within the world of nature-based Gua sha.

Day 1: Theory + Hands-on practice

Explore internal patterns of EIM Facial Gua sha and learn how to apply them to improve your facial treatments. We look in detail at the emotional impact on the face and explore what emotions mean within the principles of nature. We then look at what this means for Facial Gua sha technique and treatment location.

We focus on above and below the eye area with new techniques in addition to the foundational protocol introduced in Level 1. We also explore the use of Botox and how to approach it with Gua sha and focus on specific facial features and common disorders of the face. You also get to refine your style with regular hands-on practice and attentive monitoring to protect your posture and enhance tool fluidity.

We also look at the effect of fillers in the mid-face and how to approach them with Facial Gua sha.

In addition explore how to develop targeted treatment plans based on specific circulation systems to maximize results, leading to a higher client return rate. And how a client-centered approach fits within EIM Facial Gua Sha, along with thorough hands-on practice and additional protocols to expand and enhance what you can offer.
